Tip: Switch palace switches normally disappear if you replay the level. However, if you insert them as direct Map16 and use the hex-edit at $00EEB2 in the ROM map, you can replay the level without a problem.Not logged in.

I should have posted this a while, but every time I entered on smwc something happened and I had to leave the computer>:X

well, I know I rushed at choosing the beta testers, I think it will take a while for me to release a demo, so I will not choose beta testers for now...

Abuout me losing my potential, I was about six months without hack SMW, so I think It's normal if my level design lacked... But I will try to improve it ;(

Well, I almost desisted to hack smw, but now I decided to return, i haven't much new things to show, i found some incorrigible bugs in the hack so I will transfer everything to a new rom, i also have an important test on school next week and I need to study a lot, so the following screenshots gonna be the only "news" for a while...

Well, I had not much time lately because I have a lot of tests on school, but now I'm almost on vacation so I'll have more time to work on my hack...

@Luigi370: Well, I think that koopa looks strange because my palettes don't fit with the gfx, anyway, I will try to do something...

@TLMB: About the scrolling clouds, I'll see what I can do, I'm not too good drawing clouds, lol. And about the level design, I liked your idea of pipes generating bob-ombs, I'll change it a bit.

@Wormer21: No, SMB3 music isn't the best choice :P I'm still looking for a better athletic music, it would be awesome if I could use nsmb athletic theme. Anyway, I will keep looking for a better music.

@MrDeePay: 1: Well, I'm trying to do something like that on my levels, I'm giving an different atmosphere on each level to make every level unique...

Well, world 3 was going to be a snow world, but now I decided to make world 3 a desert world and world 5 the snow world, because I'm more willing to create desert levels than snow levels, also the demo 1 of the hack was going to include only worlds 1 and 2, now it will include worlds 1, 2, 3 and maybe world 4.
I'm working on desert levels now, as you noticed, I was making levels randomly but now I'll work on worlds 1, 2, 3 and 4 to release a demo as soon as possible...

Here are some screenshots of the desert fg, don't mind about the bg, obviously that floating pyramid isn't the final bg as it's still in its (very) early stages

@TLMB: Well, I'll see what i can do about the ground texture, i really suck at drawing sand things :P about the trees, I'm thinking about drawn another trees, as you said, those trees clash with the rest of the fg... And about the yellow blocks, lol that was my mistake, when i looked at this image, the edges looked thick to me, but then I watched some videos of nsmbw an I noticed that the edges were thinner, I've fixed that already :D

Well, to not let this thread dead, I've some screens of world 3-2, but before:

@TLMB: I have trouble finding a koopa gfx,sometime ago I could not find a good gfx for the koopas, and when i found one, it doesn't fit with my sprite palettes, I will try to make the koopas look better anyway ;P

@G.n.k.: Yeah I thought that too after looking at the gfx again, I'll do it. About the slanted statues (or totems, don't know how they're named lol) I tried to do one, but it turned out pretty bad, anyway I will try again when I stop being lazy :P

Well, I haven't so much updates at this time, I'll remake the world 1 map and start working on world 3 map later. Also, world 1 had only 6 levels while world 2 and the other worlds are going to have 8 levels, so I'll add one more level and a tower to world 1.

@Luigi370: Yeah, maybe I do some changes in the bgs of each water level so they not get too repetitive ;)

@G.n.k.: Well, it isn't, I think they look similar because I'm using the same fg and bg in both levels, but as i said to Luigi370, I'll do something to the levels not be so similar.

Well, nothing too big right now, I started to remake my bonus level fg because my old one was very bad :x
