I've been lurking for about 2 years and came out to talk about this hack. And it's way too hard for me honestly. I refuse to use save states so I'm left failing miserably. It's an awesome hack quality wise, just out of my skill range.

Looking good. I like the colorful bright tones and the hodpodge of smb3 and smb64 style. Will look forward to this one for sure.

Awesome. Love the simplistic graphics.

Driver Date: 5/14/2009 May 14th 09
Driver Version: 8.15.11.8593

A 6150 LE? There's no way that is powerful enough. I have one of those cards in my work machine (well mine's a 6200) and it can't handle TF2 at above 20 fps. Don't know if that is your problem, but it definitely will be down the line.

EDIT -
Not that I'd play TF2 at work or anything :/

I <3 these screen shots. That is all. Continue to make this awesome hack.

You could make it a health based hack where the health meter is more colorful the lower it is...

Bah, all hail the mighty Cthulhu. Your flying pasta deity is nothing to his wrath!

I love the graphics, the mega man x style wall jumping and the minimalistic HUD. I'm completely blown away by the coin # based exit system! I'm not thrilled with the flashy overworld effects.

The one criticism (amongst all the praise for all the awesome of this hack) is that the patterns in the ground look out of place. Everything else looks much more primary and solid color schemed. When not simply have the dirt be a solid brown? It just doesn't flow with all the new graphics.

Thanks guys, critism and praise is a good mix.
Anyway Ive being working on and updating some GFX:

While this looks awesome, it almost seems like I'd be safe touching their sides. I know better, but maybe you should make the sides a little jagged too... But everything else is Awesome!!!

I will change the spikes pallette, should be easy with a bit of map16 work.

Also the badge was not stupid lol ;)

EDIT: Updated king cacti's boss room. :D

I don't like how the mounts shoout up and then down there. Why not simply make them fade into each other? I don't mean to angle it or anything. It's the slit of space between the highest mound and the other two that seems out of place.

I like the new graphics better. The old were the right style but weren't really custom, like how all the other graphics are (they were just using and enemy's head to replace mario's.)

Charcoal Cliffs. Watch. Oh yeah ignore that pipe thing at the beginning.

EDIT: Just saying that I did not use Lunar Magic 1.71, it is just layer 1, 2 and 3.

IJ love how the dry bones blend into the backgroudn and then just kind of come out of hiding. great effect.

This is awesome! I really get the mario land vibe from it. And unlike a lot ok hacks out there it looks like it's shaping up to be beatable without memorizing levels or using save states. This is one to watch.
