Tip: Using Lunar Magic's "Change Properties in Sprite Header" dialogue, you can adjust the sprite slots in which sprites can spawn. For example, by using a sprite memory setting that doesn't use slot 07, you can easily prevent Reznor breaks in your hack.
I have a problem with the overworld. I created an exit (red path) from Yoshi's Island to the overworld. I goes from Yoshi's Island to the overworld ok, but when i try to go back, it sends me in the middle of the overworld map. The links to each other are the same and I don't know what to do.
I have a link in my overworld that goes from Yoshi's Island to the Overworld. When I enter it, it will properly take me to the Overworld, but when I return through it, it takes me to the middle of the main Overworld map and the game freezes. Both of the links are opposite of each other (02 top 00 bottom on the first one and 00 top and 02 bottom for the second one. These are the actual numbers) I was wondering if anyone could help me!
Thank you Kaizoman666, but I did that it still doesn't work. Maybe if I'm a little more specific... the first one is set to enter from the top and it works and the second one is set to enter from the bottom, but doesn't work. I have the destinations set for 00: the first overworld destination and 02: the first Yoshi's Island destination. I think they were used when Mario climbed up the hill to get to the yellow switch palace. It's a wierd glitch alright...
No, it is a clean rom other than some minor level and overworld editing. And I've found the problem ... and I have a new one . The Destination Index (Bottom Box) won't save for some reason. Can I have some help with that? (Nevermind this)
I messed around with it a little bit and I got Mario to return to Yoshi's Island, except as soon as he enters it, he immediatly exits and re-enters it and on and on and on... (the OW doesn't like me!)
Do you mean a whole new rom, and start all the way over? I'm gonna try to mess with it a little bit (as it's o big loss if I severly mess up my hack because) because that's what I've been doing so far and been getting things done for me. Thank you for your help, I'll let you know if I get it fixed up.
Another OW problem. I have a switch palace in my hack and when it is revealed on its event it is green, even though when go to it, it says "Yellow Switch Palace" and is really the Yellow Palace when I enter it and yellow blocks come out.
Another thing, How do I make it look pressed when I complete it?
I know all the basics and some advanced stuff of level editing... but when it comes to the Overworld its a whole different story. I have a pipe in the Overworld that's supposed to take me to Vannila Dome, but when I enter it, it takes me to the star that takes you to star world 5. Both pipes are set correctly (I think). What could be the problem. Basicly I'm open for suggestions. I need help! Any suggestions? I'd Appreciate it!
