Well, you can use modes 1E and 1F. However, mode 1E will turn transparent every tile (I won't think you will like that) and Mode 1F turn makes transparent Layer 2. Also you can use Transparent Layer 3 Generator from sprites section, however if you're using default water, it will look bad). You must have whole layer transparent or not. It's hardware limitation.

You can always do however, palette trickery to simulate that, but it's pretty hard to do.

Also, for me 125x125 (Edit Profile lies!) isn't any limitation. On many forums that limit is 80x80. Nobody has problem with that.

About layouts, I won't need any. It's just graphical thing... for me avatar is enough. I use layout option as signature, that's all! Even through I know HTML and CSS.

The problem is, the Edit Profile doesn't shrunk big image. Some may think, I will use some image from some page, I will give it [Edit Profile] link, and it will shrunk that. No! It's not like that. My avatar has only 120x112, and I even zoomed it four times, to make it look bigger. (yeah, pixel art). It's very SMW like.

I never heard however about $78 obscuring Mario and Yoshi. This is part of my play as Yoshi generator (means LevelASM script).

It is possible to insert all these folders, so you won't have to search everything on whole drive.

In Project I have whole hack and all those things which MUST be in folder of hack (like ExGraphics).

However, as I noticed Blocktool doesn't like being in own folder (it's does generate LM block-info files in our folder, but it's usually easy to copy it to right folder).

As for AddMusic and SpriteTool I recommend making batch files, even with something simple, like.

Or simply modify value TitleMusic in AddMusic.ini. Note, you can only choose overworld music.

Well the Coin Game Cloud is pretty much used about 0-1-2 times out of 30 hacks.


Not counting Super Mario Omega I rarely see it. Even guys commonly change their coin to something more useful in graphics.

For me this Under-appreciated would be Fishing Lakitu with 1UP. (maybe because it has 1UP?)

Transparency shouldn't affect sprites. What sprites do you have? I heard the Banzai Bills need to have mode 00 (however, I won't confirmed that).

It's complicated. But possible. By GFX bypass set SP3 to 25. Insert sprite A9 four times (like custom sprites, but with Extra Info equaling 0). Also set FG and BG positions to 00. Remember the Mario will start higher than in normal levels.

Because this is way these rooms was programmed. SMW competely ignores most headers in Mode 7 boss rooms.

Iggy platform, health, speed. You can insert sprites. You cannot insert objects.

You can try modifing all.log if you know somewhat about ASM.

Really nice hack, though! I like the giant springboard thingy.

Actually Desert OW Palette it's OMNOMNOM (means just simplest possible). However, it's uses HDMA. I cannot make good OWs. But I will try to add more decorations.

Actually that giant spingboard thingy wasn't made by me. It's in Sprites section. It something like no Yoshi. But it doesn't lock Yoshis (or maybe?).

I am newbie, so me does need feedback. But even newbies can create good hacks :D.
