Introducing my first good attempt at making a decent fair hack.
Mario has token his vacation with Peach and his friends to the beautiful, Waka Taka Islands, a peaceful and tranquil place where all superstars go to relax and catch some sun. Mario and his friends were all waiting to arrive so they could take a nap. When they got their though, things weren't as they hoped.
Waka Taka Islands have been taken over by Bowser! Of course, Mario expected this, seeing as Bowser was always after the Princess of The Mushroom Kingdom and how he would do anything to get her and rule her monarchy. The Island wasn't as it was suppose to look either. Piranha Plants were sprouting by the dozens in seconds, Koopa's and Goomba's were running the hotels, Wigglers could be seen in the horizon roaming through the town of Waka Taka.
Mario knew he had to do something, even if it risked his vacation time. He told all of his friends to get back on the ship and travel back to the Mushroom Kingdom while he took of business here, and he would come back after everything is settled. So with that, Peach, Toadsworth, and all of Mario's friends went back to the Mushroom Kingdom. What awaited Mario on this Island, what was lurking in the depths of the forests and caverns, and who was the figure painted on a sign by the docks? Mario was soon to find out!

New Maps - check (hope I learn ow events )

The foreground is made by Shy-Hi
Background by somebody else lol (forgot, I need to check again)
Also yeah I've been practicing a lot with lunar magic and making a good level plus good hack. Probably made like 40 shitty levels before this. That is, not good attempts, this is actually my first good one and I think it turned out well.

Rabees: I said in annotations I will apply fadefix. Also believe it or not the BG and FG water are from different people and different FG/BG sets but surprisingly they use the same gfx.....odd.
Mockingod: Slowdown was my computer, had 10 windows open in opera and 5 tabs so i'm pretty sure it was me. Also I flipped the lighted ground so it should be equal on both sides. It isn't more brighter on the left, I swear.

One more update: should have a new level or half of one done tomorrow. It'll be most likely grassy instead of water/beach themed.
Whenever I learn ASM enough, I was gonna make custom bosses. The bosses I got in mind are:
Kremling from DKC for world 1, since it has to do with Brambles (SPOILER).
World 2: Urchin from SM64
World 3: Giant wiggler
World 4: Dedede
World 5: Giant Snowman
World 6: Piranha King
World 7: Valentina (Koopinator shh IK about the other one, don't spoil it )
World 8: Bowser
Well you can send me it when everything but the graphics are done, the graphics routine, and when I learn how to do that, I will fix it.
Ok, soon I will, he (or she) so far walks turns and throws hammers- also, another problem is that it only has 1HP when I gave it 6 in the ASM! Maybe you should show a vid of the valentina castle gfx I made.
Valentina castle is gonna be a long way from now. It's world 7. Sorry.
I was just curious about this, and sorry that I didn't like ask on irc but mibbit won't load for me no matter what and I get terrible lag with irc clients or I would have gone to #smwc and asked.
Anyways, I was wondering, how does someone make a layer 2 boss work, the ones that use FG gfx space plus sprite gfx space and they have lots of animations and don't just stay still. Example some of Brutal Mario's bosses.
