Symphony No. I in F

Yes, thank you! I will look at the 12/8 issue. The reason I incorporated two themes is the little sound effect. I thought the counterpoint sounded interesting, and kept with it. What do you mean by the "direction" of the themes? Should I put the countermelody an octave lower? Don't worry about that other new theme, I do not plan to incorporate it into the final version (for concert band). Again, what does "directionless" mean? I could remove the fermata, but then again, I plan to write something entirely new for the band version. The chromatic scales was another idea I had to make it a bit more interesting. Oh, I didn't realize the flute 1 had an E! I must have accidentally moved it down. As for the movements, I could not have the pauses play in musescore, so the movements were tied together. I may actually have the band perform it this way, however. I plan for my symphonies to be shorter and more-to-the point, because I do not want to write drawn out 36-minute symphonies. What is this? Today when returning from dinner, I opened up my laptop and found a dark circle on the left of my screen. This puzzled me, but I continued to do my usual routine. When I wanted to adjust my screen, the blotch quickly expanded to what it is in the picture. Weird...
