Hi, call me febreeze! Below is a list of the junk I've slapped together while here.

Stuff I've made

Banzai Mario World 2

This is the hack I'm working on currently, and is my most ambitious project yet. So far, I am at roughly 50 exits, and if I can motivate myself, I have a lot more planned. Banzai Mario World 2 will be easier than the first one and feature less luck based setups. I focused a lot on design using timing and skill based setups, and took out a lot of luck and trial and error based obstacles, but there's still a lot of work to do to make it solid. The hack features a mix of ASM levels and vanilla stuff.

JUMP 1/2 Collab

If you haven't played the original JUMP yet, I highly recommend it. The second one is even better and has a far better difficulty curve, in my opinion. So far, I am making 5 levels for the hack, and 3 of those are collabs with Lazy, ft029, and Blue Leaf.

OLDC 2017 Entry - Agaric Sabotage

This was my entry for the oldc contest, which was a mixture of authentic style with more strict vldc rules, in the hopes that people would focus on design more. I made my level way too gimmicky for the contest.. oh well. I wanted to make something gimmicky after being inspired by Lazy's entry, but mine turned out a bit too weird as well.

KLDC 2017 Entry - Heart of Te Fiti

I wanted to make a level using the on/off blocks that worldpeace graciously implemented into the amazing base rom he created. So, I mixed layer 2 water with on/off shenanigans, and this is what turned out. Hopefully, the difficulty curve matches the goal of the contest. In the future, I hope that more KLDC contests will feature genuine efforts from people to make savestate-less Kaizo stuff, as I believe that would make it more accessible to everyone (both competing and playing the entries).

VLDC 2017 Entry- Shroom Starship (collab with Eminus)

This was a collab between Eminus and I for the VLDCX mess fest. It was a lot of fun making though, and we really tried to use our imagination to make something totally non-vanilla. It received a lot of positive feedback, even though I think a lot of entries (Lazy, worldpeace, Agent Q) were a lot better. It was still lots of fun to make, and it was crazy seeing the ridiculous sprites and tilesets that Eminus was able to come up with. I also redesigned like the entire first half of the level in 1 day lol. We actually tossed around tons of ideas while planning the level, and a lot of stuff was almost accidental. I knew I wanted to make a level using the layer 2 water glitch, and we wanted to use a gimmick that involved switching gravity. The final part of the level, where Mario enters a mecha suit and fights alien spaceships gradius style, was Eminus's idea. It turned out super awesome, and got tons of great feedback.

Super Linkdead World

Super Linkdead World actually evolved into Banzai Mario World 2, but before that, it was a pretty hard hack inspired by what Kaizo 4 would look like. It's somewhere around the difficulty of Kaizo 3 or a theoretical Kaizo 4, so it's pretty hard. Linkdead himself gave up pretty early on, which inspired me to make Banzai 2 a lot easier.

VLDC 2016 Entry - Aperture Laboratory [14th]

I was hoping my entry for VLDC9 would place well, and I was still pretty happy with its placing. It was my first VLDC, but I knew how to mix tilesets fairly well, so I really wanted to make something non-vanilla looking. After tossing around a lot of ideas, I decided on using the springboard warping glitch. Originally, I had just made a plain level using the springboards. After a while, I thought about how much cooler it would be if Mario was actually "warping", instead of displaying some jank glitch in the SMW engine. So, that's where I had the idea to make it portal themed.

KLDC 2015 Entry - Yoshi's Revenge [2nd]

This was my first contest entry I guess, and I had a lot of fun making it. It was way too hard and quite disjointed as well. Also, the boss at the end is lol. It was still a lot of fun to make though.

Banzai Mario World

My most well known hack probably, Banzai was a good hack for its time, but needs a lot of improvement for standards now. Banzai 2 is fixing a lot of the mistakes the original made. No more random fish!

A Kaizo Adventure

I'm not sure what inspired me to make a one exit Kaizo hack, but it was pretty fun making this. It felt a bit more exciting making an adventurous 1 level hack, and I felt that I put more detail into this level, than the average Banzai level. This hack features a mix of ASM and vanilla, as well as custom gfx in standard Banzai "style" or something.

Horrifying Mario World

My first kaizo hack, and basically a mess. Still, check it out if you want! The levels are.. interesting.

Glitch Abuse 3

My third pit hack, and if you have ever bothered playing this hack, you probably know about my first two pit hacks as well. If you want to see this thing in action, check out one of the amazing playthroughs by Shadowdragon or Hoorayforjay on youtube.
