It all started in mid-October. I found a gameplay video of a ROM Hack called 'Brutal Mario'. I scrolled throughout the comments for a download of it and I found a link of it. Then, I found this video tutorial which teaches how to edit the title screen demo. In the description there was a link and I clicked on it and found this. There was a banner in the bottom of the page and I clicked on it and I found SMW Central.

A short story of my first hack:
2 days later, I started creating my first hack. The first level was a remake of this SMBX level. It didn't had the clouds, the Boos, or skeletons (which were Rexes in its first version), the boss fight, the custom palettes and the NPCs in the end. My second level was a remake of World 9-1 of SMB1 (which is a underwater 6-2). Then I remade 1-1 of the same game. Then I remade 1-1 of The Lost Levels. Then I remade World 1-4 of SMB1. I also remade SMB3's 1-1 (with vanilla GFX). After a few days, I learned to use custom palettes and added custom palettes to all the custom levels that I made. When I made an update on SMB3's 1-1, I replaced the vanilla GFX with this ExGFX.
In January 4, I made my first post which is my first hack's thread.
What video game character are you?
Your Result: Bowser
You are the evil arch enemy of Mario, Bowser. You are a giant turtle like creature with spikes on your shell. You breath fire and command your army of Koopas, other turtles. Your son, Bowser Jr., commands your fleet of flying ships.
Amazing you above average, nice work. All I have to say now is pixal perfect jumps, no use of a breaking a level or glitching to get fast, master of all items, able to use them just right and most importantly don't get fustrated with anything, Kazio for instance.
You are very good at SMW hacking. Your hacks have great level design, and you have enough experience to make good chocolate hacks. You have a lot of hacking knowledge, and you play-test your hacks so they have almost no errors at all. You can make very good and polished hacks.
