Tip: Layer 3 backgrounds and tides disappear when you hit a message box, so unless you apply this fix, plan your level around that. For example, you can add a sublevel without layer 3 at the start/midpoint, and include your message there.
Started hacking SMW just because I wanted to have a copy of SMW with the separate Luigi gfx. I didn't like sloppiness of the originals so I started editing them. One thing lead to another and I ended up making SMW Just Keef Edition (Just Keef is a nickname of mine) Anyway, been hacking and learning ASM for a few years now and get better and better as I go.
