My Saddening Story About Losing KMW3

-Alright, so I've come to a conclusion: either my computer hates me, or viruses love me...

So you know how I lost SMW: World Of Pain? It has seemed that the virus has decided to pay me another visit. There's a 99% chance that I lost everything. Why does my dream of creating Kaizo 3 have to end in such a painful way? Also, I even finished half of the 2nd Annual KLDC submissions, so that's gone too. However, I can just re-download the compilation, ZSNES, Lunar Magic, etc. but that's gonna delay me even more. Ulti - I'll try to get the results in as soon as I get my computer back up and running instead of having to use another computer from another room.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience. Please excuse me while I go sit in a corner and cry -.- (ok maybe not really, but just feel sympathetic for me)

Also, a note about Kaizo Mario World and such:

We should also realize that Kaizo Mario World is not even that hard anymore. Ever since the creation of Kaizo, we have all been trying to recreate our take of it, but we always seem to create twice the difficulty. Eventually, the whole SMW Hacking Community will be surrounded by these difficulty-based hacks (i.e. Pit Of Despair/Death, Item Abuse 1/2, etc.) which is what we have been revolved around, so what people think "Kaizo Difficulty" is actually "in-human difficulty" (i.e. the definition of

Also realize that the original Kaizo series did not force wall-jumps, p-switch jumps, key-jumping, or even any glitches. The whole hack is possible without a single savestate. They are mostly used for time-saving reasons (i.e. not waiting to die everytime). So before calling your hack "Kaizo difficulty", see if you can even beat it without the real need for any savestates.

To me, the best recreation of a Kaizo hack was SMW Intrigue. Since then, not a singe "good" hack has been created close to be noted a good "Kaizo hack". However, there are too many good "inhuman hacks" out there.

Obviously, I could be totally wrong about all this, so don't 100% listen to me.

Look at this 8 year-old layout that I should probably update.
