User Bio
A brief history about me. My name's Josh/JDC and I'm 25 years old and from England.

I've been hacking since around 2007 and joined SMWC in 2008. Things were extraordinarily basic back then with even things such as custom blocks or sprites not being commonplace yet.

My forum presence was more prominent around the 2010-2013 era. I started my own forum called JDCGames in July 2011 which sustained an active userbase of around ~30 and a total memberlist of around 100. This was originally designed as a place to hold the collaboration hack I was leading at the time, but the place evolved into a tight-knit community of its own. The site eventually fell apart after a disagreement between myself and another user of SMWC who deleted the site's contents following a dispute. I went on a hiatus from SMWC shortly thereafter.

The JDCGames Collaboration project was the brainchild of the aforementioned forum and was worked on by nearly all members. It was completed in 2012, however, it did suffer a few problems mainly due to its high difficulty level. There was also a sequel planned and was worked on, although unfortunately it faded away into obscurity. I still have the project files for both buried in my computer and I would like to try and 'remaster' the hack at some point.

In 2020, I've returned to SMWC and am working on a new (as of yet untitled) hack. The thread for that can be located here
