Vanilla Level Design Contest #12 (2020) Submission:
GHOST FIRE BOP - 44th Place
The first thing I contributed to this site. There's a couple of design quirks that I'm not particularly big on (such as the pumpkins in the 2nd half of the stage messing with the aesthetics, and a few parts have nothing but waiting). Not bad for a first submission though, honestly.


24 Hours of SMW #13 (2021) Submission:
I SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE ONE TO FILL YOUR DARK SOUL WITH LIIIIGHT - 36th Place
A particularly unimpressive level. I would've been more involved if not for family issues arising mid-contest, and I had the need to at least submit something. It's got a neat underwater section for the 2nd half at least, but otherwise placed in the bottom 10.


Old Level Design Contest #2 (2021) Submission:
CLASSIC ROMP - 96th Place
Yet another entry designed on time-crunch, this time for a month-long contest. Since OLDC only allows the most basic of Lunar Magic assets (no exgfx, music, or even custom Map16), I decided to make a, you guess it, rompy Grass level with very little ideas to work with.
I think what hurt the score a lot is one moment in the 2nd half, which included a coin line leading to a pit. I intended for this to lead to a secret, but I probably should've made the ledge at the bottom extend more and thus, lots of complaints and deaths ensued.

The 11th Annual Vanilla Level Design Contest: Collaboration Hack
This was a huge project that took over a year to finish. While it was on hiatus at first due to ASM troubles, Stivi eventually came to help finish the Overworld and bring everything together, along with huge help by MarioFanGamer with the patches. Even though it got tiring by the end and a lot of people who originally followed the project possibly lost interest, I'm still happy that it got done in general, since it taught me a lot about Super Mario World romhacking and game design in general.

Oh yeah, we're doing this yet again. I'm back as the project organizer and Stivi as the Overworld designer. Currently looks the same, but there's more features planned to differentiate it from the previous game.
