Yeah, what to say about me...
I'm Hellbourne/Hellbournne or just Hell for the lazy ones.
I started hacking in... don't know, around summer 2009.
What really impresses me are cool, never-before-seen ideas and gimmicks and awesome ExGFX. (But actually I'm pretty easy to impress)
The first romhack I've ever finished is called Kirbys Adventure in Super Mario World. It features ExGFX, custom sprites, custom music and some pretty neat ideas for levels.
Unfortunately it was rejected due to some minor issues like cutoff.
I started fixing them but lost interest and never resubmitted it...
My second hack is called "What the... Hack? Demo 1.1" Link.
It's not a masterpiece and not really worth playing but oh well. Also I'm not sure if this is the old version which had some OW glitches. (you couldn't go to the last level)
And finally my third hack: Varndts Castle
I think it turned out pretty well. It's a bit Zelda-ish, you have to go through the "dungeons", defeat minibosses, get items with which you can reach new areas and finally fight the bosses to get keys.
Well, thats it for now, more interesting facts will follow later =)
Oh and just for fun: These are all the comments I got for this pic: (German ones are translated)
That's better than anything I've seen in hacking till now.
That looks freaking epic, Hellbourne. Very nice rip (it's a rip I suppose...or if you drew this, you're a freaking genius), may work as something like the dragon "pipes" in Brutal Mario (the ones ripped from Seiken Densetsu 3).
Hell, you're my favourite hacker! It looks so cool!
that was awesome Hellbourne. i'm speachless.
Hellbourne, I got to say: You're a genius! I've watched all of your hacks on YT and I have to say it again: YOU ARE A GENIUS!
Hellbourne ~ VERY COOL!
WTH? That's freakin awesome. These graphics are incredible.
Wow. Are you sure it's not a fake?
Incredible. Have fun coding!
WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!?
Is this going to be a boss?
What the hell...
The boss (?) looks really awesome! What is it going to do?
Wow, that's a great idea! Looks like a lot of work... It looks really cool though!
