The design is very well done. A first world manages to be fun, letting you explore through secret paths and secret spots. It does the job pretty good. Maybe the difficulty gets too hard from the mushrooms level, where you're hit with a questionable difficulty for a first world. Yet, it's enjoyable and fun to play, and after all, that's what it counts.
Aesthetics are very nice. The author used some custom GFX together with the main vanilla BGs/FGs. Said BGs/FGs also have custom palettes, which look good and pleasant. Good job.
Some issues:
- Music breaks on accurate emulators.
- Major slowdown in a few parts.
Overall, a good demo. I'd suggest it.
