Description: This is my last hack. The story takes place thousand years after "Kid Adventure 3." The new hero "Naranja" replaces "Kid", he has to cross the region of Nueva Citrico in search of a criminal who wants to murder the queen and to restore life to the Empress of Darkness.

After the end of the game, remake-levels of "Kid Adventure 1" will be available as a bonus.

Forgive my translation, I am French and I translated as best as I was able to.

Kid Xtreme's main game is actually 6 levels long: this hack goes the Pokémon Gold/Silver route and after you beat all of Nueva Citrico, you get to go back to Pancake Island where things have changed and in one case a level plays very differently due to the change in seasons. In addition, there's a dastardly new final challenge.

Visually, the series has progressed a lot while keeping with the 8-bit theme. The overworld is more colorful.

Level design in the main world is more complex than how the series started out, as before there were no areas to explore for extras. Here, treasure chests litter the levels and are full of coins. The exploration isn't deep, because who would want to tear apart a maze looking for a grand total of ten coins per box: there are areas "right around the corner" that are rewarding to take a peek in. Level time compensates for this.

Generally-speaking, this health meter's added leeway makes the hack easier and it's mostly in the normal realm, but toward the end of Pancake Island and the final challenge after, difficulty once again spikes. Angry Volcano (previously known as Ketchup Volcano) is nerfed considerably in its more agonizing parts but the power plant is still treacherous.

*** MAJOR ENDGAME SPOILERS ***
The final arena is a boss rush but I feel like the approach is backwards: the second boss is by far the hardest due to collision problems and unpredictability in when she throws things. However, pushing Kid off of the pedestal at the end felt like an appropriate way to finish off the series.
