Tip: Avoid "item babysitting". Do not force the player to drag P-Switches or springboards all around the level. This is not fun, nor does it make for interesting "puzzles".
An okay hack overall. It's not super fancy, but it's fun to play.
The design is good. Sometimes it's a bit empty, lacking of enemies (like in the water level), other times also may be a bit linear-ish, but as a first world, it's good enough. The demo itself is pretty short, but it will keep you busy for a reasonable amount of time. Not much more to say.
Aesthetics are good and bad. The bad part is the fact that the new gfx are kinda clashy with the SMW elements the author kept, like some of the FGs and enemies. It was a WIP, so I'm not giving this too much weight. On the other side, the new exgfx are pretty, and most of the things do look good.
Some issues:
- Music breaks on accurate emulators.
- Some slowdown occuring in some levels.
