Aesthetic-wise, it's a bit silly, but okay. The last level was a bit messy with palettes, but nothing too awful to see.
As only issue worth of mention here, music breaks on accurate emulators.
Overall, 2/5.
Hi, Hello there, I've just seen this, took me just merely 5 years haha.
I've recently gotten into SMW hacking again, since with all this pandemic stuff and finishing college I've gotten some extra free time on my hands, I remember working a little bit more, even adding custom GFX to the title screen and more levels.
The first thing I did before even opening LM was playing the latest version of the hack, which I think I last edited around 4 years ago.
The first thing I noticed was my over-reliance on P-Switch "puzzle" design. Most (If not all) of my levels rely on using either a gray or blue P-Switch to progress.
About the music, that's a weird thing, but I also noticed that on my recent playthrough, some songs are slower in game than what they should really be.
In retrospect I think I had some neat design ideas, but I will be reworking the current build I have right now.
I'm not sure but I think I will have to rework this from the ground-up, since many of the tools used are very, very outdated, such as AddBlock and Addmusic, also I realized that my choice of music was very strange, most of the songs I picked for regular levels are a better fit for overworlds, but I digress.
Do you know how to fix the music crashing ? I remember not knowing how exactly to fix it, even back then
Anyway thanks a lot for the comments, I also noticed my wonky level design and I will be doing my best to fix it in this free time we have. Stay Safe.
