The design it's not good honestly. I'm just going to analyze what this hack is made of. The first level was a level where you had to guess the right pipe to go while going through a flat land of emenies; the second level was just a boss battle; the rest of them was about the player going through very flat levels with random sprites on them. End of demo. There's no design, no ideas that could work in these levels, and so, not a fun hack.
Aesthetics are more or less good. The author uses some vanilla gfx mixed with occasional GFX. The player's GFX is silly in my opinion, especially because I can't really guess where the hitbox is when Nerdina is big. Lots of frames are also the same image, so eh, not a very good one. As for the levels' GFX, there's some palette weirdness here and there, as well as emptyness, as in, no decorations at all (the castle levels).
