Tip: Using Lunar Magic's "Change Properties in Sprite Header" dialogue, you can adjust the sprite slots in which sprites can spawn. For example, by using a sprite memory setting that doesn't use slot 07, you can easily prevent Reznor breaks in your hack.

Description: This patch modifies the Goomba's (and winged Goomba's) animation so that instead of alternating between two different walking frames, it simply uses one frame that animates by X-flipping. This allows you to use that other tile in GFX01 for something else. Note that this doesn't work very well with the SMW Goomba GFX...it will *function* okay, but your Goombas will look very strange. Use the GFX from SMB1 or SMB3, or custom-drawn ones.

This is an updated version; the previous one messed up certain custom sprites that have their "acts like" setting set to 0F or 10.

Mogu
Doesn't seem to work right in BSNES (Higan). It's random whether the Goomba's tile flips for its other frame or if the Goomba tries to use its old graphics routine and it can be random for 1 Goomba and not the other on the same screen on the same rom too. Very confused by this.

Converted to SA-1 and added extra functions that allows the programmer to have true classic SMB3 goombas (you can kill by stomping on it), removing the need for doing hex-editings.
