    Personally, I think it sounds better with the global fade. It does better justice to the original game really (and it's spookier).

    Anyway, making the bongos not fade would've turned the text file into a mess, and could've possibly caused slowdown (maybe not), so I decided it wasn't worth it.

    One thing I should note, is that the Yoshi drums fade in volume due to the "$E1" command, which is the the global volume fade, and if I recall correctly, the Yoshi drums never change volume in the original Super Mario Maker game. Thought I should point that out.
    Other than that, it's just like the original, and it's very well made, just probably needs some tweaking if you're going for accuracy.
