1. I prefere to make the power up system separate from hp system.

2. You get hp when you use a mushroom, flower or cape or when you touch the mid point, you can reserve an item and if you need get damage you can use the reserved item to get some hp.

Great Patch! Though I appreciate how user friendly it is I kind of have to question a couple design choices.

1. How come the player is small by default? It would make more sense to have them small only on their last bit of health. (This is more of a minor complaint though.)

2. The way you gain health is kind of awkward to work with...at least for me it is. Mushrooms only seem to recover health if your small at the time otherwise they do nothing but go into the reserve box making them a useless power up collect. (Which I guess is more of a personal problem for those who want their other power ups to be more hidden but still.)

Crashes on a SA-1 rom, would be nice if you made it compatible with sa-1.

Well, the patch is nicely coded and easily readable to the point it can be virtually customizable. This is one example of an excellent patch we have here, excellent job anonimzwx!

Just a note that the author told me, you have to put the bar graphics every level, as it doesn't have flags to disable the bar on a per-level basis.
