Tip: Layer 3 backgrounds and tides disappear when you hit a message box, so plan your level around that. For example, you can add a sublevel without layer 3 at the start/midpoint, and include your message there.
@Gamma V and @Mirann Thanks both for your answer. I found that what Mirann told me is true but the problem is that if you collecct all the Ace Coins in level 5-2 and then do the normal exit, when you enter the level again to do the secret exit, the Ace Coins won't appear again and you won't be able to enter the pipe that leads to the secret exit. In order to do the secret exit you will have to reset the game so when you enter the level again the Ace Coins appear again so you cand do the secret exit.
Well, I think level design is more a personal taste, but I really loved the level design here, specially because the interection between sprites and platforms.
Some of your other hacks felt a bit repetitive in their design like Kola Kingdom Quest and SMB5 reborn, but here I found the level much better, also the graphics and music are very good.
So 5/5 stars here.
Hi: I have completed the hack once and really liked it a lot and that's why I decided to play it a second time. But when I tried to get the secret exit from level 5-2, I could not enter the pipe that leads to the secret exit. I thout it was because I was playing using the second save file and thought that was the reason of the error (happened me before with another hack that only work properly when playing with the first save file) but even when I erased the first file and started a new game using the first save file and got there again by using cheat codes to make things faster but even in the first file couldn't enter the yellow pipe that leads to the secret exit. Could it be that I am using zsnes or is it something else?
I've only completed the first three worlds so far, but I'm having a blast playing this. It's not particularly difficult, but it's good, simple Mario World platforming fun just the way I like it. Job well done, Gamma! Can't wait to play more. I'm also currently uploading a let's play of this on YouTube for anyone interested.
