The only problem I get is that no matter the value I put, it never goes to the top of the screen. At best it goes up 5 blocks and stops around the middle of the screen

Useful little code if you just need something real simple to make a layer rise or fall when you step on it. Not overly configurable, but it does the job it sets out to do.
