Tip: Switch palace switches normally disappear if you replay the level. However, if you insert them as direct Map16 and use the hex edit at $00EEB2 in the ROM map, you can replay the level without a problem.
This is such a cute hack, but it is NOT easy! I savescummed my way to Cookie Country, only to end up in a level where you're constantly moving forward with little time to react to stuff. Either this hack's difficulty was mis-labeled or I need to start taking up appropriate hobbies for someone with the reflexes of a senior citizen. This hack is at least normal, but levels like Luminous Lotus, Vast Vines, and Cookie Country border on Very Hard for me.
Thanks alot ^u^ glad you enjoyed it! And yeah I think the difficulty was a bit mislabelled or either it because the hacking scene kinda has a higher bar for difficulty. The levels you mentioned are meant to be the sorta extra levels so I made them harder than normal so I wouldnt worry about your skills! Anyways its a nice surprise to see a comment on this hack demo :o

A promising little demo. The gameplay is solid, the hand-drawn graphics are very appealing and the overall Kirby-like style is pulled off very nicely. I noticed that occasionally the visuals can be misleading (spikes that look like decoration at first, brambles with larger hitboxes than you'd think), but that didn't bring the experience down for me.
