Description: This is the battle theme from Shin Megami Tensei 2, requested by Celestial Seraph. This version is very intense, and could be used for epic boss fights or other action sequences. Be warned it uses a fair bit of aram though! Not using MMX samples this time, because while looking up this song, I ran across an epic metal remix. I was immediately inspired to channel that vibe and I felt the MMX samples wouldn't quite fit what I was going for.

Also thanks go to Ultima for his encouragement, and to LadiesMan217 for being picky about my custom samples and how they sound in a mix.

I sort of wanted it to sound new and fresh, I didn't want to resemble the sound of the old games. I hope the song is at least recognizable :)

I'm not sure why, but this almost sounds like a remaster from a newer SMT game more than it sounds like old SMT, heck, it even reminds a bit of Shoji Meguro's style at some parts, but I havent really looked at many newer SMT shit yet, so this may be not the case for some people. It sure as hell is for me tho lol

Yeah it's big. Probably because of number of notes and commands.
