Description: | This hacks anecdote exordium: Mario & Luigi desired vacation in Transylvania for masquerade jollification during Hallows Eve. Being ambulatory individuals they inquisitively wandered off. Embarking down an elongated tranquil thoroughfare. They ventured forth through tenebrous thickets looking around. A sylvan symbolic scrivenry engraved on deteriorating sign, unveils a grave admonishing. "NO TRESPASSING!" These are archaically forbidden lands, where Dracula's Castle perennially stands. Mario and Luigi don't heed warning thus ascend onward. Only discovering a demonously spectral lordliness named D.N has rapacious darkly desire. To insidiously thieve Dracula's prestigious antiquated acropolis from him. |

The final boss is a Big Boo in a small room with 3 boo snakes which is already a huge drag, but it takes 18 hits to kill. 18 hits of dodging boo snakes. The checkpoint also required running back through 2 or 3 minutes of the level to try again if I died including the dark room with the layer 3 crusher. Playing on real hardware with no save states was rough. Took me something like 30 minutes to finish just that boss.
As far as the presentation, overly flowery language is whatever but here it often doesn't make sense, either grammatically or semantically.
It's clearly not a low effort hack. A lot of the visuals and music are excellent. It was so unfun for me, though, that it kinda doesn't matter.
It took a little over 2 hours to complete. Video of playthrough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMCprEXTIjc
So, you eat a thesaurus a day? Your work gives off an awfully pretentious vibe, unfitting given the feedback of your other hacks.
This hack at least shows promise, so I intend to play, probably once I clear through the backlog of hacks I've accumulated. So expect a review sometime after Christmas.
