I seem to be having the same issue with this that Koopster did back in 2018. Can't figure it out. I am using SA-1, not sure if that matters.

Made the sprite SA-1 compatible and moved the direction check to extra bit instead of extra byte in the moderation process.

Don't forget to enable "Sprite Buoyancy" if you use this.
