Tip: Layer 3 backgrounds and tides disappear when you hit a message box, so plan your level around that. For example, you can add a sublevel without layer 3 at the start/midpoint, and include your message there.
A spiny that behaves like most sprites in the Mario Bros. arcade game. A hit will stun it for a short period, leaving it open for defeat. After this period it'll hop back up in a new color and move faster. If placed in the air, it'll be a Spiny egg. More info on behaviors and customization options are written in the ASM file.
This sprite was part of Sonikku's Mario Bros. (Arcade) sprite pack, and was resubmitted separately after the remoderation for ease of search and to fit current standards.
