If you are interested on updating GPS to adopt with the map16 expansion, it uses a separate table: address $06f623+1 contains the map16 for pages 0-3, while $06f639+1 contains map16 for pages 4-7 (note that the minimum index value there is $8000). These are the behaviors table.
