Tip: If your level contains elements that temporarily change the music to a global song (such as a P-Switch or a Star), that music will not stop playing after the intended end time if the music bypass setting is set to 00.
A fun to play kaizo level. Has good pacing, but the lack of new, creative setups makes this very forgettable. Overall, this feels a lot more like a kaizo::light hack without checkpoints than a kaizo::hard one.
I'm lost on the first room. Passed the spike + bowser statue jump but I don't know wtf should I do next.
Tried to go on the pipe it wouldn't go.
Tried to spinjump in the saw with the blue block but it wouldn't pass a part where only the saw passes.
Tried to go back and get the p-switch but I couldnt
mjbg: you have to spinjump as fast as possible on the fire enemies that emerge. They appear to me.
So, overall not a bad hack. It has some difficulty spikes at some points (including the [ugh] fast autoscrolling room) but it's good and sufficiently long. I just think you could have paced up segments like the vertical castle room a bit better than you did, since they are purely basic, but that's just an opinion on my end!
this doesn't seem fair. 2nd room there's an almost impossible jump on the thwomp, then you do the shell jump, then what!?
I've tried scrolling the screen both directions, jumping everywhere, nothing seems to align. What i'm missing here?
