Tip: If you're using the wall-running purple triangles in your hack, remember to add tile 1EB (or a tile that acts like tile 1EB) underneath it. Extended object 44/45 will include this tile for you.
This code will enable Bowser's Valley thunder effect - including sound effects - in your level. Unlike the plain SMW's routine, this one doesn't mess up with palettes.
I think that the lightning effect isn't working because of minimalist status bar. I can hear the sound but there is no flashing Palette.
You can use animated palettes for the lightning effect. Even though there's a difference of time between the sound and the animation. Which I guess it kinda makes it a little bit realistic.
Great but there is a bug when you pause the game after or before the thunder, the palette effect and sound effect will endlessly play, unless the player unpause the game
