Description: This 4(ish)-level minihack's goal is to educate players on the effects of drugs and alcohol on the body. This was my Health 10 final project, and aside from a couple of people, I was the only one that didn't make a presentation.
The hack's story is in the readme. And the credits are in the hack

I'm still not sure what the grade is, but I know my fellow classmates liked it at least!

This was a very strange hack, and I didn't really see anything about effects... but it was a cool hack. It was very hard to wall jump... I had do reset a bunch of times

I... did. That's why I made it.

Also, thanks for the support! I'll try to start that up as soon as I can.

I think that if one day,you could really show this hack during a lesson in a primary-secondary school...then,this way of use of SMWhacking really will become a project of great utility.I think this seriously.

But until now...I really wish you good luck for your future hacks, because I think that you have the potential to be a great SMWhack developer, someday^^with "SAVE PRINCESS" or "without Save Princess" or "Bowser Strikes once once once once once again" XD

While I do see your reasonings, this was a project for a class, and wasn't supposed to be for hardcore gamers trying for 100%. If I have enough time, I might try to start up a new hack that appeals for gamers and not teaching. Maybe I should just go "OH NO BOWSER PEACH GO SAVE!"...

Also, with the hint blocks... I wanted to add way more, but I could only get 2 into the current level, with one already used up for the pre-level message.

Well,I explained the good thing on this hack,too...
but I don't understand, personally, where are the "teaching lessons about real life"...I think that, for this good cause(I respect the fact that someone try to do this in 2018),should be inserted some more levels with much more hint blocks, because right now...I don't feel anything...I don't feel the emotions that the plot written for this hack should give to me and other people that suffered depression in the past...
so,my comment, was meant to say, that the author should concentrate his talent(Herobrine possess great potential, for me)to the standard use of the SMWhacking utility:platform based on one of the greatest platform ever made. For story proposal...better to develop some Undertale similar game...
No flame attempt by my words or offense towards someone,I assure

So what you're saying is that he's not supposed to have an underlying message in his hack? I mean sure if you don't like it then that's fine, but why would you criticize him for teaching lessons about real life and not going "OH NO BOWSER PEACH GO SAVE!"? If he wants to use SMW as a way to talk about more personal stuff, don't just passively-aggressively tell him that he should make like a tree and piss off! That just comes off as rude.

For me,this is a wasted energy...
There are many sprite sooooo beautiful, great OST,good color balancement, and Stage 1 has some pretty good level design, and I love the wall jump balancement.
But Stage 2 & 3,are levels unders the standard, and the end of stage 2 is bad:to repeat a level in order to take the last dragon coin...not many gamers would do that if the reason for this hack,is the story, not the gameplay...

and here there is the main problem:this hack is NOT APPROPRIATE to teach something to ANYONE that plays this...basically,it needs much more tip blocks for more info, otherwise is like to play an SMWhack Demo...
and,no one when plays a SMW level, cares about some lessons of the real life...a gamer wants to play:jump on platforms,on enemies, take mushrooms...
this is the role of a TV Series-movie-anime,or some interactive movies of Sony-Telltale Games... but NOT the role of a SUPER MARIO GAME!!

Initially I were to click 1 star even before play this, but,in order to be fair,I give 2 stars because you have some potential to make a great hack in the future, and the basic idea was good enough to be worth of a try...

personal hint:go to develop some long hack with some expert developer of this site...and talk about alcohol somewhere else, like a blog or social network:there's no way that someone can understand some serious matters of our society with a platform that never was meant to be educational one...

I actually agree with that. If I had more time, I would've probably shown more of the actual effects instead of just talking about it in quick blurbs of info here and there.

Definetly an interesting thing to do instead of a presentation. The Hack is overall fine, though I am not sure how much it actually educates on the topic of drugs and alcohol.
