Super Great Hack Man!
Tho theres still some jank here and there. Examples:
- In the water hyperion, the underwater coins doesnt turn to water if you collect them (despite looking like it). So you stop floating, when you might want to float.
- In the same level it was most noticable how the throw blocks feel terrible. Sometimes you can grab it even when you dont want to if you by chance is holding x/y and get too close to the block.
- In the 2nd half of the level Megalaxy its very easy to despawn the line guided platform.
- Bottom tile that kills you in the cape level doesnt feel right.
its one of the hardest kaizo light hacks for sure and i cant recommend it without savestates. its a very cruel and unforgiving hack.
which was a lot of fun aswell.
there are a few parts where tbh i wasnt sure what to do so i had to look up a walkthrough. this never happened to me in a non puzzle kaizo hack. so is that good or bad?
there arent really bad thing to mention, the only thing is that if you hit the final boss while he is doing an attack he glitches out. he didnt use the "pillar" attack anymore only the iceblock one. making the fight way easier.
other than that, i can recommend this hack if you are looking for something really hard.
def. not kaizo newcomer friendly at all.
Kaizo blocks have caught me off guard many times, but I feel that they're well placed.
My only remarks would be:
- the use of kaizo blocks seems a bit excessive;
- no Retry System =(... although i quite understand the arguments of people not wanting to use it, I feel like a game of this difficulty would only benefit with a patch like this.
