Description: A short hack originally designed for my friends to race. Each person chose a gimmick/theme for their level, and then I made levels out of those ideas. Has the weird level names and obscure in-jokes that come with the territory of this type of hack.

SMW-R should be played on bsnes/Higan, as all other emulators have accuracy issues that cause problems when playing this hack.

It's a pretty fun little group of levels.

The airship is not that great. Even with coin guides to tell you when to jump, the jumps are still fairly difficult compared to the other levels. The boost blocks aren't very clear and could probably be made more distinguishable. I'm also iffy on having to wait on p-switch timers in a hack made for racing.

Wow,you really did this only for friends purpose???For me this is GREAT HACK!!I seen worse hacks done to normal purpose,from more famous SMWhack developer^^
a perfect mix of various difficulty level,even if the "run level" and "the castle level" are both worth of "very hard",even if they are so different.
The first level is well balanced for any player,then the seconds shows some business;I died many times but enjoyed at the same time^^
The run time was a real challenge,but I have to say,that on ZNES AT LEAST...this level crash all at sudden,and appears " the continue screen"of original MW.This cause "all dragon coins lost",so is necessary to use savestate...
But,beside this,is a great level^^
the special level,is fun but in my opinion,is too simpler than "run level" and "castle level",so unlocking it,gives a little disappointment...but at least,is a great platforming level worth of "hard" difficulty,and the idea of the four "dragon coins",was a great thing for me^^
the castle...WOW,THIS CASTLE IS AMAZING!!I have the feeling to play almost one of the best level developed from JUMP TEAM!!OST IS SOOOOO COOOOL,the puzzling-platforming is perfectly balanced:I died many times but I were thinking"I hope that 850 is necessary to complete the level",because I really wish that level never ends^^
And...GENIUS on the final after beaten Bowser^^I almost cried,one of the better castle level I have ever played so far on a SMWhack^^

Congratulations,keep it up with SMWhack developing,you have great potential to become one important on community^^
5 stars are not enough for the castle,but right for all the other levels.

I wish they add this hack on the list of SMW hack,very soon^^

hm... hard to describe this hack.
i know you can say it is my fault for using zsnes, but this hack tends to glitch out the emulator and throw me back to the titlescreen.
the ship level seen in the 3rd screenshot has a ton of booster blocks that make mario run super fast. at certain speed mario is not able to jump and to me it feels like this was not calculated here. beating this level without savestates is a challenge.

the castle level was fine and the "bonus" level creeped me out with the background and music so i kinda skipped that.

its really hard for me to give a rateing here. it was a meh experience tbh. since the majority of levels didnt really appeal to me, i have to give 2/5.
not unplayable but for me it was a bit boring/glitchy/untested
