Description: This patch allows you to enter Star Road tiles using L+R. It can be enabled/disabled by submap.

It's intended to fix the softlocks in Super Demo World-type Star Worlds, where one of a level's two exits transforms the level into a warp, making the other exit impossible to obtain.

v2 update: Moved the hijack so that it's no longer overwritten when Lunar Magic saves the overworld. Also, it's now customizable whether castles and switch palaces can be entered with L+R.

To repeat my comment from last time, this patch probably won't be suitable for many hacks but will definitely help those that need it. I should note that you can entirely disable this patch's primary function and use it only to allow re-entering destroyed switch palaces, which is not otherwise possible.

This update is a definite improvement over the previous version of the patch. My old opinion about using translevels over submaps still stands but it's nice that you fixed the conflict with Lunar Magic and allowed the user to disable re-entering destroyed castles.

During moderation, I once again added SA-1 compatibility to the patch.

While this patch's use might be a bit limited, it still is quite nice for the cases where it's useful. Of course, you should tell your player about this new mechanic should you decide to implement it.

Personally, I think this would have been a bit easier to use if it was based on the translevel, not the submap. Currently, enabling the patch for a submap means that every single star on it must have a valid level. Additionally, this patch removes the ability to disable entering destroyed castles with L and R - it might be nice to make it a define. Finally, check the note I added to the description - it could be a good idea to move hijack entirely, but I'm not sure where else would be a good place for it.

During the moderation, I added SA-1 compatibility to the patch.
