Description: | This patch lets you remove the COURSE CLEAR scorecard and/or the zooming circle effect at the end of the march. What's removed is editable in the ASM file. However, the palette fade will always be removed. No freespace required. MODERATOR'S NOTES: - It permanently disables the scorecard in Mode 7 bosses; - If the !FreezeSprite define is disabled, the player can still walk after ending a Reznor Battle, which will likely kill him almost all the time. |

The solution I thought of to resolve this would be to install this patch, and leave the !enable_scorecard option to 1, since the linked patch completely disables the Layer 3 tilemap and color updates. But this solution has not been tested.
It does not work with goal tape.
It does not work with goal tape.
Also the needs remoderation tag is still there!
I must note that it was the final boss, and should trigger the credits.
Not sure if it was related to this patch, but might worth checking...
*** Apparently freezing sprites after beating the boss solved the problem
Unfortunatelly, there is one major incompatibility: Rezonor breaks after beating him with SA-1 activated (the wheel moves in circle and the battle can't finish). It works without SA-1 and the other bosses work fine too, it's just Rezonor and SA-1 (hence why I leaved the tag).
Other then that, the only issue I found is that the circle sound effect actually can't be removed. In fact, it even plays too early.
And yes I changed it so it works with the original boss battles, so that explains why I removed that.
