Mario and other sprites disappear even with SA-1.
Is it possible for this to be converted into a cluster sprite? Is it already a cluster sprite?

Nice disassembly, though Mario disappears (as expected, see LM's description).

Another thing that would be nice: SA-1 conversion (could solve the invisible Mario bug). Aside of that, the fireworks work as intended. So, accepted.

Probably. I may look at it in the near future :)
Edit: using level mode 10 (Bowser battle) makes Mario not disappear (as it should be, since it doesn't happen in the vanilla cutscene). I guess that mode 10 uses different OAM addresses for Mario's tiles? (so that they don't get overwritten by other sprites)

Yes, that's normal: if you place sprite 7A in a level, it will do the same.
