Could it get any simpler than that?

This is just a basic run of the mill Kaizo hack- you know, the kind of one that will make you pull your hair out even with savestates.

I was aiming to create a short, yet challenging hack fit for speedrunning. And I believe I've accomplished just that.

This was a pretty cool hack. I didn't really like the final boss (Mostly because I just don't like the Bowser final boss in the original game). I found an oddity, though: On the last level, in the overworld, you can actually go to the right and enter the castle, but it will just bring you to the bonus room. 4/5

An average kaizo hard hack. The setups are simple and it's easy to figure out where you have to go. This makes it rather easy to play, as most of the jumps aren't very precise. Overall this was fun to play. The final boss really disappointed me however and it would've been better if you removed it entirely. Straight up copying ideas from a hack released in 2008 isn't good design. I also question the use of the death counter as the player will use save states anyway, making the death counter stay at 0 for the entire game. Visually, the hack is fine but there are quite a few instances of cutoff, so pay more attention to that. 3/5 from me
