Description: | This hack is my first, so please keep that in mind. Mario seems to have heard of some trouble that FryGuy has been causing to the local islands. Goal is to get to the heart of his firey rule and get control of the isles once more! But other than that, it's a kaizo hack. I was trying to aim for a more intermediate level hack, but honestly more so just for what I felt was fun to create. Please make sure to check the readme, it has some important details! UPDATE 1.7 - Fixed the FryGuy boss's slowdown as best I can! Now it's a lot more playable while there might be a little bit of lag, thanks so much to Deakula for being the only one to tell me about Fastrom. Also fixed a bit of clutter and visual stuff. 3/25 - Fixed a whoops, the fastrom wasn't applied to the 1.7 version so I updated it! |

overworld is not bad
gameplay cool 4/5 star
A few things could be fixed.
Music was interfering with the bat sounds in the cave level making weird noises.
Water level was just precise swimming through spikes and fish for the most part (probably the only level I didn't enjoy)
Ghost house was pretty long compared to the rest. There was one jump off the eerie where if you got a bad bounce you couldn't make it up to the platform.
Boss Fight- pretty long and slow, there are multiple areas in the fight where you are just waiting for the screen to go up making it pretty boring.
Even with these mistakes I still think its good enough to have on the site. I really loved some of the themes of the levels. (The stormy level was pretty cool!)
