Tip: Layer 3 backgrounds and tides disappear when you hit a message box, so plan your level around that. For example, you can add a sublevel without layer 3 at the start/midpoint, and include your message there.

Background used in the Cycl's stage in the bootleg game Top Fighter 2000 MK VIII, for the Sega Genesis.
Note that, the background is originally 24x14, which even fitting all gameplay's screen, it's kinda limited, therefore I added two modified versions (with their respective sample level) to use: one with a horizontal looping setting and one with fully vertically expanded waterfalls, so you can use the one you like more (all versions uses the same map16). I also made the animation smooth, unlike in the original game.
