Description: | This is a Vanilla hack. Everything you can see looks Vanilla. In some situations there are asm fixes to use other mechanics than intended. Anyway, that's pretty much it. I'm sorry if that was a bit harsh, but that's how I feel about it.

The Boss fights a really tough, thats true. But you a so happy, if you will beat it
About the Yellow "!" Blocks. I want make it easier for the player if he will activated it. But not to easy. Thats why i placed more Yellow ! Blocks than Green one. The Cape could be to strong
True, and that makes sense. It would be more visually interesting if some of theme were recolored to colors that don't correspond to the 4 vanilla blocks, such as pink, grey, etc. Fun hack though, and great for 2 players.

and 2 feathers, the scarest part was the last hit since bowser was so fast, but that fight wasn't that bad if you compare it to bowser in kaizo 3, also level design was really good, the part that annoyed me the most was the invisible ghosts in world 7 ghost house, can't wait for the next hack, hope that kaizo that you will be making will be creative, my favorite levels were the ones like 6-1, which is short, has well hidden secret, and is well designed, and you can slide through it
Also if you need tips on last boss fight, to lower the amount of the worst phase is to hit bowser with 2 mechakoopa, store one and get 2 mechakoopas, and throw them, if you do that only 2 hits on that phase remain
In 7 - Ghost House, some Boos tend to become invisible, particularly if the player keeps the springboard at the start with them, resulting in very cheap hits. There might be an issue with the sprite memory setting there that's causing that.
And, in some of the Reznor fights, it feels like I'm bouncing off of the bottoms of the Reznor platforms in weird ways that don't seem quite right. Like, I'll jump towards the very bottom of a platform to attack, and then suddenly find myself bounced sideways unexpectedly.
I know this bug but i can't fix it
I love the vanilla style, pallettes and overworld. You put so nice music too, like Guile or Vega remixes which sound so nostalgic =]
Bosses are hard but doable. However, there are many slowings during them due to sprite overload.
I would have given you 5 stars but I must admit I agree with FireFast : the last boss is out of point with a "Hard" difficulty tagged game. Even if you give the player 2 power-ups (a mushroom and a cape, though two capes would have been fairer), the boss's difficulty tends to be quite kaizoish. That's not bad thing in itself, but it is for a "Hard" tagged hack. Maybe you could at least give the player a mushroom during the fight ?
In addition to that, we can't save our midway points anymore in SRAM, which was indeed a feature of the original game. This is bad as castles are very hard, especially the last one, and if you want to play without savestates you have to do all the castle again, which adds an unwanted difficulty.
I couldn't beat Bowser after 100 lives so I stopped playing, leaving me a bit frustrated as the rest of the game's difficulty is hard but well balanced. I understand that the last boss must be the ultimate challenge, but its difficulty has to be in line with the game.
However, game is still great !

you have a good idea with an additional powerup for the Boss fight. I keep this in mind if it will be nessesary for an patch 1.2
The think about the midway points. If i understand it correct. i would had it, like the original game. So try to get some lifes. Do the Bonus Areas and earn so many lifes as you can.
In all new Mario games (or the most Jump & Runs games). lifes a useless
I know its very frustrating if you on a boss fight and you lost your last life.

Your hack is awesome! There's only one thing that's ruining everything, the final Boss. His difficulty is very unfair, fix it and your hack will be 10/10. To reduce a little the difficulty of it will not leave the game bad since the Castle itself is a mega challenge.

I have completed the ghost house and switch palace and even got secret exit in 1-3.
I think you only found the secret exit in the ghost house. The Ghost house has also a normal exit to the castle

hmm i don't know what you did wrong. The secret exit is possible to reach. There is no troll. Do you know where it is and what you have to to?
Yes, however, if I do that, and duck below the normal exit, I somehow still go through that goal gate and die (because everything disappears)

In the 1.0 Version are few issues. I have already submit a 1.1 Version and waiting for the green light. Most of the Issues in 1.0 a Visuelles and typos. So you can Play 1.0 or wait for the 1.1

If you will do a giant update to this one day, I suggest you to insert 5 DC for getting more near to the perfection^^

In the first step of this hack, i wanted to use the dragon coins to unlock new levels and change there style of it. But than i had some problems with that and would keep it vanilla. Sometimes it was already hard to place 3 coins on good positions. So 5 would be way harder
What the future will bring, we will see
