Description: This is the theme that plays when you're fighting Richter Belmont, the game's fake final boss, in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. This is a very final-like song, but it's also a very weird and "janky" one, thanks to the 5/8 time signature this song is mostly in, which, along with the overall strong presence of dissonance, gives off a very great sense of unsettlement and tragedy to the battle itself, to differentiate from other final boss themes.

But yeah, like I said here, honestly, in my opinion, I think the best way this could fit is really only for final boss battles. You could probably find a better use for this port outside of that purpose tho, maybe I'm just being dumb. :V

    Thanks :V

Yeah, honestly, I'm actually getting much more into odd timesig music now thanks to a friend of mine, and despite the fact that most of those songs are really hard to arrange overall (Motoi Sakuraba's music is a top example of that IMO lmao), they're also very fun and cool as heck to listen to once you finish it haha

Hmm, just curious, but what would you consider here to be lacking at the low end? The drums? The lack of echo? Or maybe is it due to some of the downsampled samples in here? Honestly, I tried to give the song as much low end as I could with the bass and kick, and also give it some extra oomph in the intro with the bassy synth, so I am curious as to what you mean by that lol

For the start you did actually nail the subwoofer in the first 10 seconds but after that it seems to just fade off entirely without the humming of the original and it actually ends up taking a lot of the depth away from the drums

Hmm, tbh, now that I think about it, it may just be due to the fact that I had to take out a lot of the depth of the original SPC in general for it to be optimized into SMW, especially the echo, which may have influenced this to have a lot less depth overall; sadly tho, there isn't much I could do about that, especially since there was no way I could have planned ahead for that thanks to my AMK being sorta buggy, and since I couldn't make the samples any small than they already were (or else then the song would really take a hit in quality), sadly the echo had to go lol

If you want tho, there's a video upload on my Youtube channel of this port that actually keeps the echo intact (and some other misc. stuff, like the cymbals not cutting of as abruptly), so if you want to get a better comparison at how it was before, well, here you go:
