Description: This is Dean Evan's masterpiece and in my opinion one of the best songs on the SNES catalog.
It would best fit in water levels, especially long ones, but it can also be used for a variety of other themes.

Special thanks to Sinc-X and Maxodex for pointing out the errors present in the early C3 version! This was definitely hard to remake but I'm happy with how it turned out.

Update: now the default SFX channel used is 8, which is recommended for water levels. If you want to use the song in a non-water level, change "WATER_LEVEL" to 0 at the top of the file.

Woah, thank you for making me discover this theme, it's honestly rather magical :D

It immediately makes me think of some postgame super level based around swimming in space and otherwordly backgrounds... At least it's what I'd use it for, should I ever fully commit to a hack/game x)

Truly, one of the greatest ports on the site and my personal favourite.

Yes (if you disable echo in the player it will sound the same). Maybe the echo was used just for the sound effects? I don't know if it would actually do something to those.

Well, the echo volume fades can technically be used alongside the FIR filter commands to do some cool filtering FX, and the echo fades are normally used there to control the way the FX sounds; however, Diving doesn't have anything like that, so it could just be that the engine itself is hardcoded to do that, and you probably can't use a command to stop it? Tho if it's just a simple command, I'm sure Dean used it for the heck of it, especially since it looks cool as heck, but I digress :V

No problem dude, thanks for all your hard work.

I can't believe this soundtrack is ported in SMW. Really great job Kevin.

    This is both an awe-inspiring port and a gorgeous piece of music. It'll be a while till something better comes along, I bet. Awesome work #w{<3}

To give you an idea for how long your level should be to hear the entirety of this song, it plays for 500 in-game seconds.

This is just a remarkable effort to port this song to SMW. You've outdone yourself with this one! 5/5

Although ive never heard of this song until C3, i love it. This must of been really tough to port over considering its length. Great job as always Kevin.

This is too much for me to describe in words how much I love this...

But aside from all that, this is too much for me to describe how perfect this is.

EDIT: Also, what is the "$F6 $6C $20" used for exactly? If I'm correct, it's trying to do something to the Echo-Write or something? Did you have something in mind with it or something?

I'm happy you did the remake work so I have an excuse to listen to it for another time this week

This is a great example of how to create longer songs and isn't just the same melody copied for 3+ minutes.

The port is really good for SNES and does its work and ambience well done.
