Tip: If you give a Muncher tile custom graphics, it will still act like a coin when a silver P-switch is active, whether it looks like a coin or not. So make sure to use ExAnimation if there's a silver P-switch in the area.

Details for Super Mario Infinity 2: The Cursed Gem
Picking up directly from where Super Mario Infinity left off, Mario and Luigi have discovered an artifact called the Cursed Gem that contains a timed explosive supposedly able to destroy the world, and the only way to stop it is to enter the Gem itself. The adventure heats up when our heroes learn of Bowser's presence in the artifact, and as they search the Gem and discover its underground secrets, ancient clues and revelations begin to make themselves known. Could all of the answers be at hand? Only time will tell (literally) if our heroes can stop the time bomb, or if their planet is doomed to an explosive death...
Update: Music and other issues for accurate emulators fixed.
There are legacy hacks that aged fairly decently and there are legacy hacks that aged terribly. This is definitely one of the second kind, long and hard levels, often without checkpoints (a level took me 13.40 minutes deathless), long section of nothing but holding right and running, a lot of slow and boring autoscroller section. Let's not talk about the endgame and how painful it is to play the last 25 or so exits. It's just too much.
With that said, I'm approving this because it's a legacy hack and this is a FIXME update, in my personal opinion, playing this is not a thing I'd recommend.
I think a lot of good hacks are lost due to SMWC's strict rules ... a Hack that doesn't have blatant editing of the original game, that can be beaten, that has no cuts and no bugs in precise emulators would be good. to be approved. This hack in my humble opinion, although songs do not match the themes or the exploration area is boring, is no reason to be removed or updated ... I played Hack and I liked it.
