The aim of these graphics was to fix a lot of the sloppiness of the original player graphics but keep it as close to the original in style and posing as possible. I've done my best to eliminate coloring inconsistencies, ugly shading, and poor readability. Also as alternative options you can have more shading on Mario's shoes and gloves.
The .zip includes:
GFX32.bin*3 (three of each for alt. options mentioned above)
readme!.txt with detailed installation instructions.
I sorted the alt-graphics into folders, and removed the shared palettes. If your player graphics match the Vanilla palettes, you shouldn't need to include any. Someone can just get the palette from a clean ROM if they mucked theirs up.
It's small touch ups, but they work well. I like the gloves version especially, kinda reminds me of Super Mario Advance of all things.
