I'm looking at this and getting some serious inspiration. All I'd need to do is reskin the Rex, make the blocks invisible, and PROFIT! :D

For me every time it runs into the block it switches directions. Did I insert something incorrectly? I mean I have the block but it behaves slightly different then the thumbnail.

Edit: ok i fixed it, this was on lunar magic's end; even though it has the behavior of a Rex Manipulation Block, it can't be set to act as 130, it has to act like 25 since it will be solid if the default is a cement block, if that makes any sense.

Tested with: LM 3.11, GPS 1.4.1, SA-1 1.32, Snes9x 1.60. Works as intended, so accepted. During moderation I fixed an issue where jumping on the rex and then making it normal again with this block would keep the rex clipping as if it were still smushed.
