Albatoss by mikeyk converted to PIXI, it can drop bombs (or other sprite) or torpedos and drop with some delay depending of what extension bytes are used (Values that you can use: 00, 01, 04, 05, 80, 81, 84 and 85).
‐ The spinjump kill option when the Albatoss was ridable caused more Albatoss to spawn and kill Mario, instead of dying (There was a LDA !14C8,x that should have been STA !14C8,x).
‐ For some reason, Mario's Y position when riding the Albatoss was set to be 1 pixel too high. This caused issues with Mario's animation frame flickering while riding, making him glide along the Albatoss instead of being held in place, and made jumping off of the Albatoss a 50/50 chance.
I fixed these issues, and everything else appears to work, so, accepted. During moderation I also tweaked the .json file to display graphics for the Albatoss Bomber, and added it to the .json list.
A few other things to note:
‐ By default, the Albatoss is killable by a spinjump regardless of whether extra bit 0 is set. It also dies when jumped on instead of becoming ridable. This is because the Albatoss is configured to use the default sprite interaction. To make the Albatoss ridable and make the spinjump kill option use the extra bit 0, go into the .json file and check the "Don't use default interaction with Mario" bit.
‐ Likewise, the Albatoss interacts with objects by default, even though the "Don't interact with objects" bit is set. This can also be fixed by not using the default interaction.
