Description: Comfortably Numb is a mellow, atmospheric song by English progressive rock band Pink Floyd, from their 1979 Magnum Opus, The Wall. This remix of comfortably numb features synthesized vocals, strings and horns playing accompaniment, laid back bass and drums, and a note-for-note recreation of one of the most iconic guitar solos in rock 'n' roll. Perfect for water levels or any slower paced course.

Wow a song from the second disc to my first bought Pink Floyd album, I am literally singing along to the song without the lyrics I know it so well!

by the by, i love this port so much!!!

Thanks for the link. This entry and all other song entries have been adjusted to fit the tag list.

Glad you like it. I've got a few more I still need to upload. This song and all my other rock ports are from my hack, The Rock 'n' Roll Mario Show.

That's dope, I'd love to hear it when it's done. I want to try porting some of Pink Floyd's earlier works, like Astronomy Domine or the Atom Heart Mother Suite.

It's really nice seeing someone actually daring to tackle non vgm music, especially rock classics is something I didn't really expect to see. Being honest I think these arrangements are kind of rough around the edges, like sounding rather choppy and dry, and I think these definitely have the potential of sounding really good if this got improved. A few samples could also be used a little better (e.g. the snare sounds very low-pitched).

In this case there's a few notes wrong with the solo, but it's not really detrimental I just know this one by heart :P What you managed to do in general to make these fit within the SNES's limitations is actually very good, so I really look forward to what you can end up doing next.

oh also please stick to the tag list (seen in the "submit file" page)

Thanks for the feedback. I'm still pretty new to SMW porting, and I'm working with the samples I can find. If you have suggested changes such as the snare instrumentation, those can be re-worked no problem and resubmitted.
