This patch is the original Death Counter from Super Dram World 2, coded by Thomas/Kaizoman, now converted to be SA-1 compatible. This version works with the SA-1 pack v1.32, and SA-1 v1.33 available on GitHub. It is also compatible with the Retry System v2.06.
There is an included readme which gives usage notes and explanations on what you may need to change.

Works as intended, so, accepted. The lives counter is rarely used in kaizo hacks so this patch acts as a nice substitute. During moderation I added screenshots.
