Tip: Switch palace switches normally disappear if you replay the level. However, if you insert them as direct Map16 and use the hex-edit at $00EEB2 in the ROM map, you can replay the level without a problem.
Works as intended, so, update accepted. I can't see anything that's different about the added versions apart from them using different GFX files, but having that option is a bonus regardless.
One thing to note that wasn't mentioned in the previous version, is that the ASM description claims the sprite can only be killed by star power, when it can in fact also be killed by cape spins, fireballs, and sliding.
